About Invisible Blind Watermarking (LSB Steganography)

Blind watermarking is a technique for embedding digital data, such as copyright info or tracking signatures, into a cover image in a way that is invisible to the human eye. This tool uses Least Significant Bit (LSB) steganography, which slightly alters the lowest bit of the Red, Green, and Blue channels. Because the change is only 1 unit out of 256, the visual difference is completely unnoticeable.

Use Cases for Blind Watermarking

- Original Content Protection: Artists and photographers embed invisible copyright signatures directly into their creative assets.
- Sensitive Mockup Sharing: Product managers tag beta screenshots with hidden project identifiers to track source leaks without adding distracting visual clutter.

How to use the Watermark Tool

1. Embed Message: Upload your cover image, write your tracking or copyright text, and click Bake Invisible Watermark. Download the output image.
2. Extract Message: Toggle to the *Extract* tab, upload the watermarked image, and click Extract Hidden Watermark to decrypt and display the hidden message.
3. File Format Guard: You must save watermarked images as lossless PNG files. Sharing via compressed channels (like WhatsApp or JPEG formats) alters pixels, destroying the embedded bit flags.
